One experience that really amazed me is the result of the Pacquiao-dela Hoya post I made on two of my blogs: Pacquiao-dela Hoya fight Video and Pacquiao-dela Hoya video replay. They were just trial posts. Sort of experiment. I actually, did not real stuff about SEO. I just compied what other SEO bloggers are doing. I did not expect that it would turn out the way it did in the last two days. There are some things I've learned: 1. Choose your keyword/s very well. And by saying this I mean that you have to use what usually pops in your mind about a certain topic. People who are using the search engines might just think of the same words you thought of. They, too, who would type in what enters their mind the soonest. 2. Uhmm... basically, item number has already summarized what I wanted to say. So, honestly, there is no number two. 3. Be happy to see the numbers grow. That's my way of relieving stress. 4. Never stop doing SEO. The traffic you earn from a particular phenomenal event like the Pacquiao-dela Hoya Fight or Charice Pempengco Concert in Eastwood City Libis are shortlived. They dies down, too, when the fever over them ceases. So, always be on the lookout about what's hot. There are plenty of online tools to help you out. 5. Don't expect much income unless you're have them in your account already. So you won't be hurt. That's all folks. Wishing myself (and you, too!) financial success! |
| jan January 7, 2009 12:45 AM PST SEO is my Achilles heel. It's hard to think of a post, even harder to write it. I'm just happy I'm done writing that I forget about it optimization and stuff. Maybe some other time. It just might sink in. Hehehe | ||
